Glenstocken Holiday Cottages are situated on the Galloway coast, approximately 40 miles west of Carlisle, 60 miles south of Glasgow, 70 miles south west of Edinburgh.
Directions.
From the South, follow M1 north, cross the border into Scotland on the A74M and take the second ext, (after Grenta) signposted A75 Dumfries and Stranrear. On entering Dumfries follow sihns markered Dalbeattie A711. If on A711, follow this road into Dalbeattie and turn onto A710 signposted Rockcliffe. After 5 miles turn down to Rockcliffe, the Glenstocken turning is first left, please follow the road up to the main house.
From North: Follow A74 south taking the A701 towards Dumfries, enter Dumfries and follow signs to Dalbeattie on the A711 follow this road into Dalbeattie and turn onto A710 signposted Rockcliffe. After 5 miles turn down to Rockcliffe, the Glenstocken turning is first left, please follow the road up to the main house.
If coming from Glasgow area take the A76 south to Castle Douglas, go through town and take A710 towards Dalbeattie, before you enter Dalbeattie, take right onto A711 to Rockcliffe.
For a picturesque alternative route from Dumfries take A710, coast road, follow this road to the turn towards Rockcliffe, take the first left turn into Glenstocken farm.
